The contract, which starts with the 2025-26 season, cements JioStar’s growing presence in the sports broadcasting sector.
JioStar, the newly merged entity of Star India and Viacom18, is backed by key stakeholders Reliance Industries, Walt Disney, and Bodhi Tree Systems.
The report said that the deal comprises $54 million for media rights and an additional $11 million earmarked for marketing EPL events in India during the contract period.
